Friends!

This past weekend we had our good friends, The Haberers come visit us for the first time.

We took them to the Homecoming football game on Friday night.  Their 3-year old daughter, Emma, could not get enough of the marching band!  Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera, so the only picture I have is one of Evan after he fell asleep in the baby carrier.

On Saturday we went walking around downtown McKinney and I took pictures of Emma.  She was a great sport and it gave me an opportunity to try out my new camera lens more.  I love it so much!

After a few naps we went to the same pumpkin patch that Matt and I visited the weekend before.  This time I did NOT forget my SD card and I was able to take so many adorable pictures of our little ones!

Emma enjoyed the petting zoo, and the babies enjoyed the sights.

I was intent on making smores for Emma on Saturday night even though it was 80 degrees outside.  I convinced Matt let us light a fire and we enjoyed some delicious smores!

On Sunday the boys went golfing and we took the babies and Emma to the park for some play time.

At one point during the weekend Matt and I had a conversation about how our idea of fun has changed since we have become parents.  Pumpkin patches? Fun!  Parks? Fun! Repeating the words "mama" and "dada" over and over? Fun! I am so excited to see how our idea of fun continues to evolve as Evan grows.
