Unfortunately, I had a Pinterest-fail and attempted to make a painting that turned out terrible. I'm hoping I'm not the only one out there that has received a big fat "F" in the DIY world before! Of course I decided that if at first you don't succeed,
I decided to slow things down and take on a challenge that I could pretty much guarantee a success. Enter: new pillows! We have had the same ol' same ol' pillows on our couch for too long. I found some fabric that was 50% off at JoAnn's and 4 cloth napkins for only $10 at Target!

I'm using the fabrics as a guide of sorts for the colors that will be in our living room once we move into the new home.
I'm happy with the fact that it was a quick DIY project that brings instant gratification.

I love the pillows! I just made curtains for my dining room out of the tablecloth that matches the Target napkins. I love that print! Nice job!
Wow, these look great! I am a complete sewing newbie but I have tons of projects I want to start including pillows! You are totally inspiring me to attempt some tonight.I love the fabrics. I picked up some cheap fabric at Jo Ann's. I never thought about using Napkins, that is genius!
I just had this exact thought with the exact napkins at Target today! Love this idea!
Awesome!! Go girl!
The fabric is fabulous but the baby, he is adorable! He makes the picture! Thanks for sharing and joining in on all the fun!

That's crazy! I saw those too the other day and thought they'd make cute pillows! I guess we're all on the same wavelength (or we're all just Pinterest addicts...).
The pillows are amazing! I love using napkins for pillows because everything is already cut and measured. It makes it so much easier!
