Let's Do This!

It's official.  I've gone back and forth more than a hundred times trying to decide whether or not I wanted to create a blog to document our new life.  Matt thinks it's crazy...but he thinks a lot of the things I do is crazy so I'm okay with that.  I decided that instead of posting tons of pictures on facebook, I could update our life together here for whoever wants to know about it.  Also, I think it will serve as a wonderful tool to document our early days as a family.  Here's to hoping that I keep up with it!

Our most exciting thing lately: welcoming our first child into our family!  We were so excited to welcome Evan into our lives on April 4th this year.  He made quite an entrance (I'll post about that later), but we have finally settled into our lives back at home.  We are finding our new normal and enjoying our everyday routines.

I will be home with Evan for the rest of the school year due to my c-section.  School will be out in a few weeks and then Matt will be home more often with us as well.  I am so thrilled that I get to have 4 months off with our sweet baby before I have to go back to work.  Having an April baby is the way to go for a teacher!
